Dietetic Division is one of the clinical support services in UiTM Medical Specialist Centre (UiTMMSC) Sungai Buloh Campus. It is located at level 1, UiTMMSC. Dietetic Division is one of the clinical support services in UiTM Medical Specialist Centre (UiTMMSC).

Dietetic  division in UiTM Medical Specialist Centre (UiTMMSC) responsible in planning, preparing and serving diet to the patient. Dietetic Department also provides clinical dietetic services and medical nutrition therapy (MNT) to the patient for inpatient and outpatient in general, dietetic services in UiTMMSC responsible for providing patient diet education and nutritional assessment as well as  quality and nutritious meals in sanitary manner for inpatient.


Clinical Dietetic

Clinical Dietetic Services is one of the important aspect in ensuring the medical therapy successful via nutritional therapy. Patient will be assessed and dietitan will identify the effective nutritional intervention which suits to the patient’s condition and diagnosis. MSCUITM had 2 dietitians U41 to run these services. Patient are referred to see dietitian by medical officer or specialist through dietitian’s referral form for inpatient and outpatient. Furthermore, clinical dietetic services also provide enteral nutrition intervention for patient who are need to have tube feeding or oral nutrition supplement (ONS). In promoting healthy eating and awareness we actively organize nutritional talk and dietetic booth in health carnival or health campaign.


Food services is one of the core services in support services in order to deliver good and quality hospitality and services to the customer or patients in MSCUiTM. Our division is responsible in providing diet for patient based on ordering from wards either normal diet or theraputic diet. Besides, we also provides food for doctors on call with dedicated menu. Hence, monitoring food quality and accurate diet to be delivered are very important in order to ensure patient’s satisfaction.
